Build the future of finance with Solaris APIs

Integrate a fully licensed banking infrastructure directly into your product. Our modular REST APIs give your team the flexibility to build, scale, and launch accounts, cards, and lending products seamlessly.

See API Documentation

A modular API structure for seamless scaling

Our API is built on modern REST principles and organized by product domains. Whether you are issuing cards or offering loans, you only integrate the endpoints you need.

Onboarding & KYC

Create customer profiles, bind devices for Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), and trigger compliant identification flows (VideoIdent, Bankident, eID).

Banking & Cards

Connect to our core ledger. Manage B2B and B2C accounts, execute SEPA and Instant payments, and handle card issuance, lifecycle, and tokenization.

Lending

Access endpoints for consumer loans, overdrafts, and Splitpay functionality.

From sandbox to production in three steps

We designed our onboarding journey to ensure your integration is both technically robust and fully compliant with banking regulations.

Technical Foundation

Get your API credentials, configure your development environment, and set up your webhook subscriptions. Test your integration safely in our dedicated Sandbox environment.

Compliance & Data

Because Solaris is a regulated bank, we guide you through implementing the required legal screens, data collection flows, and tax information requirements.

Customer Onboarding

Now, select a customer type to start testing. Trigger workflows to onboard a person (B2C) or entity (B2B), open accounts, and issue cards. For Lending services, the procedure differs; see our API docs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We provide a fully functional Sandbox environment (api.solaris-sandbox.de) for development and integration testing before you move to the live Production environment.

The Solaris platform is built on a RESTful API-first architecture. To ensure full compliance with GDPR and European banking regulations, all data is hosted within the European Union.

Solaris APIs use standard OAuth 2.0. You will need to obtain and manage OAuth access tokens to authenticate your requests securely.

You can subscribe to real-time webhooks. This is critical for receiving instant notifications on events like 3DS authorizations, payment statuses, and KYC verification updates.

Solaris uses standard HTTP status codes. A 400 series error usually includes a JSON body with an id and a message explaining the validation failure. Always log the request_id from the header, as our support team will need it to investigate issues.

We prioritize transparency and platform reliability. You can access our public Status Page to view real-time health updates for all APIs, as well as logs for scheduled maintenance.
